Harvey’s Teams Up with Xbox Canada to Offer Game Pass Codes
In a new collaboration, Harvey’s has joined forces with Xbox Canada to provide customers with complimentary Xbox Game Pass codes when ordering through the Harvey’s app. Until November 30, 2023, Canadians who purchase any combo meal will receive a 14-day subscription to Xbox Game Pass Premium.
The Xbox Game Pass Premium, which typically costs $17.99 per month, grants users access to over 200 games on Xbox consoles and PC. While this tier does not include day-one game releases, it offers a wide variety of titles for players to enjoy. New members have the option to start a trial for just $1, but this promotional offer extends a full 14-day access to users through the Harvey’s app. More details about the game offerings can be found on the official Xbox website.
In addition to the Game Pass promotion, Harvey’s has launched a light-hearted “Gamer’s Combo,” priced starting at $12.69. This meal includes a Bacon Double Cheese Poutine accompanied by a can of Red Bull, catering to gaming enthusiasts who appreciate a quick and satisfying meal.
This partnership reflects a trend among food brands to engage with the gaming community, creating unique promotional opportunities that resonate with younger audiences. The collaboration aims not only to boost sales through app orders but also to enhance the overall customer experience by adding value to meal purchases.
In a playful nod to gamers, the promotion features a quote from famed actor and gaming icon, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson: “Enjoy your gaming.” This catchy tagline adds personality to the campaign, inviting customers to indulge in both food and gaming.
As the gaming industry continues to expand, collaborations like this between fast-food brands and gaming companies are likely to become more common. They represent an innovative approach to marketing that leverages the growing intersection of food and entertainment.
Overall, this initiative by Harvey’s not only provides an incentive for customers but also strengthens the relationship between food and gaming, appealing to a diverse demographic of consumers.
