The Saskatchewan Country Music Awards Gala witnessed a remarkable night for Jake Vaadeland, who clinched six prestigious awards, including Male Artist of the Year and Alternative Country Album of the Year. The event took place on March 3, 2024, in Regina, showcasing the best of the province’s musical talent.

Vaadeland’s success extended beyond individual accolades, as he also received awards for Interactive Artist of the Year, Record Producer of the Year, Fan’s Choice, and National/International Artist. His achievements reflect both his artistry and his increasing popularity in the country music scene.

The awards gala also honored Shantaia from Spiritwood, who was named Female Artist of the Year and took home the award for Single of the Year for her hit “What I Wouldn’t Do.” Another notable winner was Evan Baxter from Beechy, recognized as the Top Emerging Artist, highlighting the fresh talent in the industry.

The ceremony also celebrated significant contributions with the Legend and Legacy Award awarded to Heidi Munro, and Humanitarian Awards presented to Kurtis Kopp and Justin LaBrash. The Jess Moskaluke Youth Bursary was awarded to Kateryna Grace, supporting the next generation of musicians.
