Kimberley Food Bank Celebrates Retirement of Longtime Volunteers

The Kimberley Helping Hands Food Bank has announced the retirement of two long-serving volunteers, Judy Peterson and Judy Caron, who have dedicated over two decades to supporting their community. Their unwavering commitment has made a significant impact on the organization and the individuals it serves.
Thom Tarte, the Food Bank manager, expressed deep appreciation for the contributions made by both women. “Both Judys have been devoted volunteers at the food bank for over 20 years, offering their time, energy, and compassion to help those in need,” he stated. This sentiment reflects the essential role that volunteers play in keeping the Food Bank operational and effective.
As Peterson and Caron prepare to embark on new adventures, their legacy of kindness will undoubtedly resonate within the community. Tarte highlighted the importance of their contributions, noting, “Their departure reminds us how vital volunteers like Caron and Peterson are to our mission.”
The Food Bank is now seeking new volunteers to continue this spirit of service. Tarte has encouraged anyone passionate about making a difference in their community to consider getting involved. “This is a meaningful opportunity to make a positive impact,” he added.
