Q-Games Unveils Dreams of Another on PS5, PS VR2, and Steam

Kyoto-based creative studio Q-Games has launched its latest title, Dreams of Another, now available on PS5, PS VR2, and Steam. This release coincides with the much-anticipated debut of PixelJunk Eden 2, providing fans with a dual offering of the studio’s innovative artistry.
In Dreams of Another, players delve into a surreal realm shaped by memory and emotion. The narrative follows two main characters, The Man in Pajamas and The Wandering Soldier, whose interconnected stories explore themes of thought, dreams, and regret. As players navigate these fragmented realities, they encounter an array of peculiar characters and enigmatic objects that challenge their perceptions of truth and illusion.
A unique aspect of the game is its approach to weaponry. Instead of focusing on destruction, the weapons serve to unveil hidden truths, transforming players’ interactions with their environment. The launch trailer showcases this dreamlike experience, complemented by an evocative soundtrack composed by Baiyon, who is also the game’s director.
Visual and Artistic Recognition
The game’s striking visual style employs advanced point cloud rendering technology, which has garnered international acclaim for Best Visual Art and Visual Design. This recognition highlights Dreams of Another as one of Q-Games’ most visually ambitious projects to date.
Alongside this release, PixelJunk Eden 2 invites players into a vibrant 2D platforming adventure. In this game, players control a whimsical creature called a Grimp, exploring lush environments while collecting glowing Spectra across dynamic stages. Baiyon’s creative influence is evident throughout this engaging platformer, further showcasing the studio’s commitment to imaginative gameplay.
To celebrate this significant launch, a special discounted bundle featuring both Dreams of Another and PixelJunk Eden 2 is available on PlayStation and Steam. This offering marks a landmark day for Q-Games and its community of fans who appreciate artful and imaginative gaming experiences.
As of October 24, 2023, players can immerse themselves in these two unique titles, exploring the depths of creativity and artistry that Q-Games continues to deliver.
