The Byron Public Library will close its doors on September 1, 2023, in observance of the Labor Day holiday, resuming regular hours on September 2, 2023. This adjustment in schedule allows patrons to plan their visits accordingly.

On September 3, 2023, the library will host an engaging program titled “The American Civil War,” presented by historian Jim Gibbons. Scheduled for 15:00, this event aims to delve into one of the bloodiest conflicts in American history.
