Illinois Valley Community College Receives Major Donation for Soil Lab
Illinois Valley Community College (IVCC) has secured a significant donation from the W.H. Maze Company to support the establishment of a soil lab on its campus. This facility will be part of the upcoming Dr. Alfred E. Wisgoski Agricultural Education Center, which is slated for completion in 2027.
Roelif Loveland, president of Maze Company, expressed pride in the donation, stating, “Maze is honored to support IVCC in the development of this new facility. We believe investing in cutting-edge educational infrastructure is essential to cultivating the next generation of agricultural leaders and innovators.” He emphasized that this partnership aims to foster progress and sustainability in the agricultural sector.
The soil lab is expected to enhance the educational experience for students, providing them with essential hands-on training and resources vital for their future careers.
