Plano Library Offers Engaging Programs for September 2023

The Plano Library is set to host a variety of exciting programs throughout September 2023, catering to adults, high school students, and younger children. Adult Programs

Several programs are available for adults, starting with the **Writers’ Group**, which meets on **Thursdays, August 28 and September 11**, from **18:30 to 20:00**. This group welcomes writers to share and discuss their work in both in-person and Zoom formats. For those needing technical assistance, the **Technology Help Desk** will be available on **Tuesday, September 2**, with expert **Steve Goodwin** from **10:30 to 11:30** and on **Saturday, September 20**, with **Joshua Carlson** from **12:00 to 14:00**. This informal drop-in session provides help with computers, cellphones, tablets, and e-readers. Participants are encouraged to bring their devices for personalized assistance.

On **Saturday, September 6**, the library will offer **Crafts to Go – Diamond Painting Kits** for adults and high school students, available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

A notable community initiative, **New Life for Old Bags**, will take place on **Saturday, September 13**, from **10:30 to 12:00**. Participants will help transform plastic shopping bags into sleeping mats for the homeless. Children’s Programs

**Bookworms** will also meet on **Tuesday, September 16**, at the same times as the previous sessions, with similar activities focusing on electronics and creativity.
