As Halloween approaches, the Prince Albert Science Centre is inviting families to indulge in a gooey and creative experience. On October 18, 19, 25, and 26, the centre will host a slime lab from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., allowing children and parents to make and decorate their own slime at a cost of $10 per container.

The event promises to be a hands-on delight, with participants encouraged to engage in the tactile joy of creating their own unique slime concoctions. This initiative aims to blend fun with education, fostering a sense of creativity and experimentation among young attendees.

On Saturday, paNOW reporter Nigel Maxwell visited the centre and spoke with Sandra Williams, Chair of the Prince Albert Science Centre. Williams expressed enthusiasm for the event, highlighting its potential to engage children in science and the arts through a playful approach.

The slime lab is designed to cater to a wide range of ages, making it an ideal family outing as Halloween festivities begin to unfold. Participants will have the opportunity to choose colors, add glitter, and even include various textures to personalize their slime creations.

Parents looking for an enjoyable way to celebrate the Halloween season with their children can take advantage of this unique opportunity. The slime lab not only promises fun but also serves as an educational experience, as children learn about the science behind slime-making.

With the growing popularity of DIY activities, the Prince Albert Science Centre’s slime lab stands out as a creative alternative to traditional Halloween events. As families prepare for the spooky season, this interactive experience is sure to provide memorable moments and lasting smiles.

For more information about the slime lab and other upcoming events, families are encouraged to visit the Prince Albert Science Centre’s official website or contact the centre directly.
