New Arrivals: Kankakee County Celebrates 11 Births in August

Kankakee County welcomed a wave of new life this month, with a total of eleven births reported from August 12 to August 18, 2025. Families across the region celebrated the arrival of their newest members, with both boys and girls joining the community.

Isaiah Coronado and Vanessa Johnson of Kankakee celebrated the birth of their first child, a son named Mateo Emmanuel, born on August 12. Just a day later, Rilley Harrod and Alyssa Harrod welcomed their second son, Colt Christopher, on August 13.

The joy continued with the arrival of Gunnar James, born to Tiffany McDowell and Brady McDowell of Watseka on August 14. This birth marked their second child. On the same day, Andres Castro and Brittney Castro from Kankakee became the parents of a daughter, Daisy Adalei, their sixth child.

The following day, August 15, saw the birth of two girls: Riley Mae, the second child of Cameron Schwark and Shelby Schwark from Herscher, and Alaina Geraldine, the first child of Tamara Hancock in Kankakee.

On August 16, Michael Bradford and Sara Bradford from Manteno welcomed their fourth child, a daughter named Aubrianna Marie. They were joined that same day by David Stevenson and Tatyana Jackson, who also welcomed their second son, Davyn. Additionally, Zac Carlton and Lisa Carlton from Manteno celebrated the arrival of their second son, Nolan Robert.

The birth announcements continued with Jesse Aguirre and Cora Braud from Bourbonnais, who welcomed their third child, a son named Jaxson Wyatt, on August 17. Finally, on August 18, Sha-Ron Lightfoot from Momence celebrated the birth of her fourth child, a son named Jaylin Jonas. Also on this day, Wilder Lopez Guinand and Veronica Ramirez Ramirez from Kankakee welcomed their second daughter, Ailany Sofia.

Each of these families is beginning a new chapter filled with joy and love, as Kankakee County expands its community with these new arrivals.
