New Arrivals: Kankakee County Welcomes Nine Babies in August

Kankakee County is celebrating the arrival of nine newborns this August, marking a joyful milestone for local families. The births, which span from August 12 to August 18, showcase a mix of boys and girls, reflecting the diversity of the community’s growing families.
Isaiah Coronado and Vanessa Johnson welcomed their first child, a son named Mateo Emmanuel, on August 12. This joyous occasion marks an exciting new chapter for the couple. The following day, Rilley and Alyssa Harrod celebrated the birth of their second son, Colt Christopher, born on August 13.
In Watseka, Tiffany and Brady McDowell also expanded their family with the arrival of their second child, a son named Gunnar James, on August 14. The same day, Andres and Brittney Castro welcomed their sixth child, a daughter named Daisy Adalei, further illustrating the vibrant family life in Kankakee County.
The birth announcements continued with Cameron and Shelby Schwark of Herscher, who welcomed their second child, a daughter named Riley Mae, on August 15. Also on that day, Tamara Hancock from Kankakee celebrated the birth of her first child, a girl named Alaina Geraldine.
On August 16, Michael and Sara Bradford from Manteno welcomed their fourth child, a daughter named Aubrianna Marie. That same day, David Stevenson and Tatyana Jackson from Kankakee celebrated the arrival of their second son, Davyn, alongside Zac and Lisa Carlton, who also welcomed their second child, a son named Nolan Robert.
The week concluded with the arrival of Jesse Aguirre and Cora Braud‘s third child, a son named Jaxson Wyatt, born on August 17. Finally, on August 18, Sha-Ron Lightfoot from Momence welcomed her fourth child, a son named Jaylin Jonas. Also on this day, Wilder Lopez Guinand and Veronica Ramirez Ramirez from Kankakee celebrated the birth of their second daughter, Ailany Sofia.
