Syrian-Canadian Pharmacist Launches Natural Skincare Line After Cancer Battle
Lina Hadid, a Syrian-Canadian pharmacist, has launched a line of 100% natural skincare products called Natura Touch. This venture follows her personal battle with stage four non-Hodgkin lymphoma, diagnosed while she was pregnant with her second child. Hadid and her husband immigrated to Montreal from Syria in 2017, seeking a fresh start and better opportunities.
After her diagnosis, Hadid began searching for natural skincare options available in Canada. Frustrated by the lack of suitable products, she decided to create her own line. “Natura Touch for me, it’s a positive thing that happened for me after a dark moment with cancer,” Hadid explained.
Turning Adversity into Opportunity
Following the birth of her healthy son, Hadid focused on her recovery and became increasingly interested in the ingredients used in skincare products. “I want to search more about the ingredients for everything I put on my skin or inside my body,” she stated. This quest for knowledge and natural alternatives led to the establishment of Natura Touch, which combines her professional background in pharmacy with her passion for wellness.
Hadid emphasized the importance of emotional support for cancer patients, drawing from her own experiences. “I want to support any patient, especially cancer, because I feel them. I already suffered with cancer and I know how important emotional support and hope are with this disease. It’s not just a treatment; we need the emotional support,” she said.
Commitment to Quality and Wellness
Natura Touch products are crafted with the intention of promoting health and wellness. Hadid’s commitment to using only natural ingredients reflects her desire to provide safe and effective options for consumers. Her journey illustrates not only resilience in the face of adversity but also a dedication to improving the lives of others facing similar challenges.
With the launch of Natura Touch, Hadid aims to inspire hope and provide quality skincare solutions that resonate with her personal story. Her experience serves as a reminder of the transformative power of perseverance and the potential for positive outcomes following hardship.
