Beloved Matriarch Alma Marie Bryan Passes Away at 89

Alma Marie Bryan, a cherished matriarch and community member, passed away on September 7, 2025, at the age of 89. She departed this life peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love and service.

Born into a loving family, Alma is survived by her son, James Bryan (Ivonne), and her grandchildren, including Jason, Melanie, Laine (Channing), and Michael (Lynnette). The family also celebrates the lives of her great-grandchildren, Hayden, Hunter, and Fern, with another great-grandchild expected in January 2026.

Alma’s family ties extended beyond her immediate relatives. She is also survived by her brothers Harvey, Garry, and Grant, along with their families, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who will remember her fondly.

Alma was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Bryan, and her daughter, Brenda Vodden (Jim Vodden). She also mourned the loss of her siblings Diana, Len, Linda, and Clarence. Her family plans to lay her to rest alongside her husband Bill and her late daughter Brenda in a ceremony that reflects her vibrant spirit.

Throughout her life, Alma was known for her exceptional organizational skills, her ability to bring people together, and her infectious sense of humor. Friends and family alike will remember her for her dedication to service and her knack for celebrating life’s moments, big and small.
