He met his future wife, Shirley Cameron, during high school, and they maintained a loving relationship throughout their lives.
After graduating with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Tech University, Graham joined Algoma Steel Corp. He quickly advanced to management while prioritizing his faith and family above all else. The couple married on July 4, 1959, and together they raised two children, Tim and Melinda.

Family was at the core of Graham’s life. He rarely missed family dinners and consistently supported his children and grandchildren at their sporting events, cheering them on with enthusiasm. His legacy includes not only his children but also his grandchildren, whom he cherished deeply. Graham’s greatest hope was to see his family members live fulfilling lives centered around their faith.
An avid athlete, Graham maintained his fitness through swimming, skiing, cycling, and tennis, continuing to play until the age of 89. He embraced challenges and adventures, including parasailing and ziplining while on holiday. His zest for life was evident in all he did, demonstrating a commitment to staying healthy and active for his family.
Graham is predeceased by several family members, including his parents and siblings.
