Interfaith Food Bank Launches Christmas Treat Sale to Support Community
The Interfaith Food Bank is celebrating the festive season with a Christmas Treat Sale, inviting community members to indulge in homemade goodies while supporting vital food bank programs. The baking takes place at the Co-op Community Kitchen, where dedicated Food Recovery Volunteers have crafted a delightful selection of traditional holiday treats.
This year, the Food Bank is offering Homemade Treat Boxes filled with an assortment of cookies and squares, ideal for gifting to clients, employees, friends, and family. Due to their popularity, organizers are encouraging individuals to reserve their boxes in advance to avoid disappointment.
Christmas Treat Options and Ordering Information
The Christmas Treat Sale features two box sizes designed to cater to different needs:
– Small Treat Box: Priced at $15, contains approximately 16 pieces.
– Large Treat Box: Available for $35, includes around 32 pieces plus a festive eggnog loaf.
Customers can conveniently place their orders online by visiting www.interfaithfoodbank.ca/treatbox. Payment will be accepted upon pickup, ensuring a smooth transaction process.
All treats are freshly baked and then frozen to maintain quality and presentation. Community members can collect their orders during the Christmas Market on December 6, 2023, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.. For larger orders, invoicing options are available.
