Kingston Art Tour Returns with Expanded Showcase This Weekend

The Kingston Art Tour is set to return this weekend, following a successful inaugural event last year. Scheduled for September 30, 2023, the tour will feature an increased number of exhibitors, doubling its participation to highlight the vibrant local arts scene.
This year’s tour will span 12 venues, ranging from the bustling downtown core to the more serene rural north end of Kingston. Artists and performers from various disciplines will showcase their talents, offering visitors a rich and diverse experience. The lineup includes painters, sculptors, musicians, writers, and even medieval sword fighters, creating a dynamic atmosphere throughout the city.
Participating artists will include both seasoned professionals and young, emerging talents. For many, this event serves as an opportunity to introduce their work to the public. Emerging artists will have the chance to connect with the community, while established creators will present their skills and artistry. Notably, for one artist, this event will mark a significant farewell to public exhibitions, adding an emotional layer to the tour.
The Kingston Art Tour aims to engage the community and foster an appreciation for the arts by providing a platform for artists of all levels. Visitors can explore various artistic expressions and interact with creators, enriching their understanding of the local art landscape.
As the weekend approaches, anticipation builds for what promises to be a memorable celebration of creativity and talent in Kingston. The tour not only highlights the region’s artistic capabilities but also reinforces the importance of community engagement in the arts.
