Princeton High School Honors Elks Teen of the Month Winners

Princeton High School has recognized four outstanding students as representatives in the Mendota Elks Teen of the Month Competition for both September and October 2023. The students selected include Landon Davis and Lydia Johnson for September, along with Ryan Jagers and Caroline Keutzer for October.
The Elks Teen of the Month program aims to highlight the achievements of young individuals in various aspects of school and community life. This includes contributions to fine arts, athletics, community service, and other extracurricular activities. Each month, the Mendota Elks Lodge honors one male and one female student as Teens of the Month. These honorees will then compete for the title of Teens of the Year, who will progress to the district level and potentially qualify for the state competition, offering opportunities for scholarship funding.
Landon Davis, representing Princeton High School in September, is the son of Jessica Pinter and Luke Davis. Lydia Johnson, also a September honoree, is the daughter of David and Sheena Johnson from Tiskilwa. For October, Ryan Jagers, the son of Tom and Gail Jagers, joins Caroline Keutzer, the daughter of Steve and Michelle Keutzer, both residents of Princeton.
The recognition of these students reflects their commitment to both academic excellence and community involvement. The Elks Lodge emphasizes the importance of fostering leadership and service skills among youth, preparing them for future roles within their communities. As the competition progresses, these young leaders will have the chance to showcase their talents and dedication on larger platforms, furthering their educational and personal growth.
