Canuck Place Children’s Hospice has launched its Fall 50/50 and Prize Draw in British Columbia, aiming to raise funds for pediatric palliative care. The annual raffle supports children and families facing life-threatening illnesses, with an estimated jackpot of $500,000 for this year, allowing the lucky winner to take home half of that amount. Canuck Place focuses on pain and symptom management, medical respite care, a 24-hour Clinical Care Line, recreational and music therapies, grief and bereavement counselling, and end-of-life care—all provided at no cost to families. Families can choose from various care options, including in-hospital, in-home, or virtual care, with hospice locations in Vancouver and Abbotsford.
