Support Canuck Place’s Fall Raffle for Children’s Care in B.C.

Canuck Place Children’s Hospice has launched its Fall 50/50 and Prize Draw in British Columbia, aiming to raise funds for pediatric palliative care. The annual raffle supports children and families facing life-threatening illnesses, with an estimated jackpot of $500,000 for this year, allowing the lucky winner to take home half of that amount. Tickets are now available for purchase, with all proceeds directed towards essential care programs.
Exciting Prizes Await Participants
This year’s raffle features an array of enticing prizes that encourage participation. The first prize offers a winter getaway to Revelstoke Mountain Resort, valued at $4,450. This package includes a two-night stay in a two-bedroom suite, four two-day mountain passes, ski rentals, and a $500 food and beverage gift card for exclusive dining experiences.
The second prize, dubbed the Love Where You Live package, is valued at $4,253.76. It includes $1,000 to King Living, a Mint Cleaning package, a 65-inch The Frame TV by Samsung, and various gift cards totaling $500 to Homesense and Rona, along with a Dyson v11 Cordless Vacuum.
For those looking for a refreshing escape, the third prize is a getaway to Whistler, featuring a two-night stay at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler. This prize includes breakfast for two days, parking, and a $200 food and beverage credit, along with a $345 gift card for the Scandinave Spa.
Participants can also take advantage of two Early Bird draws for additional prizes. Those purchasing tickets before September 3, 2023, can win a $250 Best Buy gift card or an iPad Bundle with an 11-inch iPad and JBL wireless headphones. The second Early Bird deadline is September 17, 2023, with prizes including an iPhone 15 Pro and Apple AirPods.
Impacting Lives Through Care
All proceeds from the raffle will directly support Canuck Place and its vital programs for children with life-threatening illnesses. Currently, the hospice is providing care to over 946 children and their families, helping them create lasting memories and navigate challenging times.
Canuck Place focuses on pain and symptom management, medical respite care, a 24-hour Clinical Care Line, recreational and music therapies, grief and bereavement counselling, and end-of-life care—all provided at no cost to families. Families can choose from various care options, including in-hospital, in-home, or virtual care, with hospice locations in Vancouver and Abbotsford.
By participating in the Fall 50/50 and Prize Draw, individuals not only have the chance to win significant prizes but also contribute to a critical cause that provides support to families during some of their most difficult moments. Tickets for the raffle are available now, offering a meaningful way to give back to the community while also having an opportunity to win big.
