Campbell River Genealogy Society Hosts Online Research Seminar

The Cambell River Genealogy Society is set to host an online seminar on November 8, aimed at enhancing participants’ genealogy research skills. This seminar will focus on the Genealogical Proof Standard (GPS), a framework designed to ensure rigorous research practices in genealogy.

These components include conducting reasonably exhaustive research, providing complete and accurate source citations, engaging in thorough analysis and correlation, resolving conflicting evidence, and crafting soundly reasoned, coherently written conclusions.
