Prince Albert Science Centre Hosts Slime Lab for Halloween Fun

The Prince Albert Science Centre is bringing a unique blend of creativity and science to the community with its upcoming slime lab, just in time for Halloween. This engaging event will take place on October 18, 19, 25, and 26, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Families can participate for a nominal fee of $10 per container, allowing both parents and children to create and decorate their very own slime.
During the slime lab, participants will have the opportunity to explore different textures and colors while learning about the chemistry behind slime-making. The hands-on experience is designed to foster creativity and encourage children to engage with science in a fun, interactive way. As Sandra Williams, Chair of the Prince Albert Science Centre, noted, “We want to make science accessible and enjoyable for everyone, especially during this festive season.”
This initiative not only entertains but also educates, providing a platform for children to explore basic scientific concepts while having a gooey good time. The event is expected to attract families looking for engaging activities that blend learning with seasonal celebrations.
Tickets can be purchased at the door, and pre-registration is not required. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to secure their spot, as the slime-making sessions may fill up quickly. With Halloween approaching, this slime lab offers a perfect opportunity for families to indulge in some festive fun while sparking an interest in science.
The Prince Albert Science Centre continues to be a hub for educational and entertaining events throughout the year, and this slime lab is just one of the many activities designed to engage the community. Participants are sure to leave with not just a container of slime, but also a memorable experience that blends creativity with scientific exploration.
