Clean Up Earth Unveils Enhanced Demo Ahead of Kickstarter Campaign
The environmental simulation game Clean Up Earth has launched an updated demo today on Steam, integrating player feedback to enhance gameplay and narrative experiences. This latest version aims to refine the game further as it prepares for its upcoming Kickstarter campaign.
New Features and Gameplay Enhancements
The updated demo introduces a companion drone that assists players in spotting and cleaning up waste. This innovative feature not only streamlines gameplay but also emphasizes teamwork, allowing for a more immersive experience.
Players can now engage with a crafting and reconstruction system, which enables them to gather resources, rebuild structures, and unlock new areas within the game. A new multiplayer map has been designed to accommodate up to ten players, facilitating larger and more dynamic gaming sessions.
Among the more intriguing additions is the quantum memory feature, which allows players to visualize past buildings and human activity, enriching the exploration aspect of the game. The developers have also redesigned environments, offering more complex layouts and exploration paths.
Enhanced User Experience and Accessibility
To assist players in navigating the game’s mechanics, a voiced non-playable character (NPC) has been introduced. This character not only guides players through various features but also contributes to the game’s world-building.
Players will experience a smoother tutorial system, featuring four concise lesson maps. Additionally, a new whistle mechanic enables better coordination among players. Performance improvements enhance frame rates and overall stability, ensuring an optimized gaming experience.
The demo also includes multiple localizations, making the game accessible to a broader audience, with support for languages such as Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Polish, Dutch, and Czech.
Clean Up Earth is set to launch on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store in Q1 2026. Magic Pockets, the game’s developer, plans to announce console release dates following the Kickstarter campaign. The game will be featured in the Best Indies Showcase next month and participate in the second week of the upcoming Jingle Jam, supporting the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and promoting awareness of environmental issues.
