New Action-Strategy Game Chip ‘n Clawz vs. The Brainioids Launches

Chip ‘n Clawz vs. The Brainioids has officially launched, offering players a vibrant new action-strategy experience across multiple platforms. Developed by Arc Games and Snapshot Games, the game is now available on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, as well as on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Priced at £24.99, it currently features a 10% launch discount available until September 2.

This innovative title, created by renowned game designer Julian Gollop, known for his work on the acclaimed XCOM series, combines fast-paced third-person combat with real-time strategy. Players engage in battles against the Brainioids, whimsical brain-in-a-jar adversaries, in a world reminiscent of classic Saturday morning cartoons and retro comic books. Throughout their journey, players gather Brainium crystals, construct bases, and lead armies while directly participating in combat as the game’s heroes.

The gameplay structure encourages a blend of tactical decision-making with hands-on action. Gamers can seamlessly shift between planning and battle, appealing to both seasoned strategists and newcomers alike. The game supports a variety of play styles, including solo adventures, online co-op, split-screen couch co-op, and competitive player-versus-player (PvP) modes.

To enhance the multiplayer experience, a Friends Pass feature is available for players on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. This allows players to join forces or compete against a friend who does not own the game, ensuring that more players can enjoy the action together.
