Ottawa Senators Launch New Jersey and Arena Upgrades for 2025-26

The Ottawa Senators have officially unveiled their plans for the upcoming 2025-26 NHL season, including a striking new alternate jersey and various enhancements at the Canadian Tire Centre (CTC). The third jersey, featuring a vibrant red design complemented by black and gold trim around the shoulders and elbows, will be worn in 13 games throughout the season.
The Senators introduced the jersey during their media day, providing fans with a glimpse of the fresh look players will sport on the ice. Alongside the new uniform, the CTC is set to celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2026 with several upgrades aimed at enhancing the fan experience.
Enhancements at Canadian Tire Centre
Significant modifications to the arena will include upgraded seating options in the 100-level and 200-level suites, as well as the introduction of a new ice-level bar. While these changes will enhance comfort and accessibility, they will also slightly reduce the overall seating capacity to just under 18,000 fans for sell-out games.
The Senators have planned an exciting lineup of promotional nights for the season, which features events such as Oktoberfest, Halloween celebrations, and a tribute to Indigenous culture. Additional themed nights include Country Night, Arcade Night, and Home for the Holidays, alongside initiatives like Hockey Fights Cancer and Igniting Hope. Fans can look forward to four “Ignite the Red” nights in the first half of the season, as well as a bobblehead giveaway.
Fanfest is scheduled for September 21, 2025, from 10:00 to 13:00, preceding a preseason matchup against the Toronto Maple Leafs. A special celebration marking the CTC’s 30th anniversary will occur on January 17, 2026, against the Montreal Canadiens, echoing the inaugural game played on the same date in 1996.
New Partnerships and Food Offerings
In a notable development, the Ottawa Senators announced a partnership with Keurig Dr Pepper Canada, which will see the introduction of various beverages at the arena. Fans can expect to find drinks such as Dr Pepper, Canada Dry, Nestea, and Crush, marking the CTC as the first major sports venue in Canada to offer these products.
The Senators also revealed exciting new food options that will be available at the arena, including smash burgers, tourtière kettle nachos, and a unique braised beef shank grilled cheese. Exclusive items in club seats and restaurants will feature the new Brady Burger, a bison burger topped with aged cheddar, double-smoked bacon, and pickle ketchup on a brioche bun.
On the business front, the Senators reported a robust increase in season ticket sales, with a double-digit growth attributed to 13 new corporate partners and sponsorships this season. Tickets for the first half of the 2025-26 season will go on sale on Thursday, providing fans with the opportunity to experience the revamped atmosphere at the Canadian Tire Centre.
As the Ottawa Senators prepare for an exciting season ahead, the combination of a new jersey, arena upgrades, and enhanced fan engagement promises to create a vibrant environment for hockey enthusiasts.
