Petit Planet Launches Closed Beta ‘Coziness Test’ on November 7
Gaming company miHoYo has announced the launch of a closed beta for its latest cosmic life simulation game, Petit Planet, set to begin on November 7, 2023. This testing phase will be accessible on both PC and iOS platforms, allowing players to explore the game’s unique features and immersive world.
Discovering a New Universe
Promoted with the slogan “Weave Your Dreams Beneath the Stars,” Petit Planet invites players to cultivate their own worlds while forging connections in a vibrant, star-studded universe. Participants will start their journey on personal planets, where they can interact with friendly neighbors who contribute to a rich web of companionship and creativity.
As players build bonds, they will encounter Luca, the life force of their planet, which influences the terrain and aesthetics of each individual’s world. This dynamic interaction ensures that no two planets will look or feel the same, fostering a sense of uniqueness and individual expression.
Engagement Through Exploration
The essence of life in Petit Planet revolves around curiosity and discovery. Players will have the opportunity to fish in crystal-clear waters, search beaches for valuable items, and experiment with diverse ingredients to create unique experiences. Each neighbor who settles on a player’s planet brings their own personal stories and aspirations, enriching the game’s narrative and atmosphere.
Additionally, companions can accompany players on what are called Starsea Voyages, allowing them to travel to distant islets throughout the galaxy. This feature emphasizes the social and multiplayer aspects of the game, enhancing interaction among players.
During the Coziness Test, participants will gather at the Galactic Bazaar, a lively hub designed for sharing experiences, enjoying coffee, and participating in rhythm mini-games that celebrate friendship. This setting aims to encourage community building and connection among players as they explore the cosmos together.
As HoYoverse‘s first foray into the life simulation genre, Petit Planet combines elements of creativity, social interaction, and exploration. The upcoming beta is merely the initial step in a broader plan to develop cross-platform features and community-driven content, promising a universe where dreams and friendships can flourish beneath an expansive night sky.
Players interested in joining the Coziness Test can sign up through a survey available on the official game website. This beta phase marks an exciting milestone for both miHoYo and aspiring players eager to experience life on their own personalized planets.
