SEGA Unveils Launch Trailer for SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance

SEGA of America has released the launch trailer for SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance, building anticipation for its global debut on August 29, 2025. This upcoming title, developed in collaboration with Lizardcube, the studio renowned for Streets of Rage 4, revives the iconic ninja franchise in a visually striking hand-drawn 2D environment. Players can expect a compelling mix of stealth, swordplay, and action when the game becomes available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
For those eager to engage with the game ahead of its release, the Digital Deluxe Edition offers an enticing opportunity. This edition provides early access to the complete game three days before its official launch. It also includes additional bonus content. Furthermore, the Collector’s Edition, available through Limited Run Games, will feature the upcoming SEGA Villains Stage DLC, slated for early 2026. This downloadable content promises to introduce new challenges, including encounters with classic SEGA antagonists like Dr. Eggman from the Sonic the Hedgehog series.
To allow players a taste of the action, a free demo is currently available across all major platforms. This trial version lets players navigate an enhanced iteration of the game’s opening stage, showcasing the refined controls and artistic style that define the overall experience.
With its combination of nostalgic elements and contemporary design, SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance aims to reintroduce one of SEGA’s most celebrated heroes to a new audience while providing fresh challenges for long-time enthusiasts. More detailed information regarding editions, pricing, and the demo can be found on the official website.
