Starlight Re:Volver Launches on Steam Early Access, Inviting Adventurers

Indie game studio Pahdo Labs has officially released its co-op roguelite title, Starlight Re:Volver, into Early Access on Steam. The game, priced at $19.99, is currently available at a limited-time discount and follows a successful showing at the Steam Next Fest, where it ranked among the festival’s Top 10 Most Played demos.
Exploring a Unique Game World
Set in the vibrant Nishi Island Metropolis (NIM), Starlight Re:Volver invites players, known as Divers, to engage in cooperative gameplay. The game offers a blend of fast-paced action and the charm of anime-inspired environments. Players can explore the surreal dream realms called So Mi, which are crucial to the city’s existence. Utilizing mysterious devices known as ReVolvers, players can transition between NIM and So Mi, embarking on quests that include treasure hunting, combat, fishing, crafting, and participating in various lighthearted minigames.
The visual style and gameplay reflect the influence of renowned manga artists Naoko Takeuchi and Rumiko Takahashi, while also drawing inspiration from the iconic anime and gaming culture of the 1990s and 2000s. The game’s dynamic combat system transforms each encounter into an engaging spectacle, making it appealing to both new and veteran gamers alike.
Customization and Community Appeal
Beyond action, Starlight Re:Volver allows players to customize their Diver’s appearance and abilities. This feature encourages players to tailor their character builds to suit personal playstyles or to enhance synergy with teammates in co-op mode. By merging the social aspects of classic online RPGs with the unpredictability of roguelites, the game aims to evoke a sense of nostalgia while providing fresh experiences.
The launch of Starlight Re:Volver marks a significant milestone for Pahdo Labs, showcasing their ambition to create a universe where reality and dreams intertwine. As players dive into this imaginative world, every adventure unfolds like a unique story, inviting gamers to explore the unknown.
