Starward Industries Unveils New Gameplay Trailer for Into the Fire
Starward Industries has unveiled a new gameplay trailer for its upcoming title, Into the Fire, during the online INDIE Live Expo. This latest showcase highlights the extraction survival adventure set on a remote island plagued by volcanic eruptions, transforming the environment into a perilous landscape rich with danger and ancient mysteries.
Exploring a Volatile Landscape
The newly released trailer provides an in-depth look at the intense rescue operations that players will undertake. As the gameplay unfolds, viewers witness the challenges presented by collapsing terrain, extreme heat, and violent storms that emerge from the island’s awakening core. Players will utilize advanced retropunk gear specifically designed to withstand these harsh conditions while navigating through disturbances linked to long-forgotten legends.
The chaotic environment is not just a backdrop; it plays a crucial role in the gameplay experience. As players engage with the world, they will encounter phenomena that reflect the island’s tumultuous history, invoking a sense of ancient memory that rises through smoke and ash.
A Unique Narrative Experience
Michał Obłoj, Marketing and Business Development Manager at Starward Industries, describes Into the Fire as a tribute to systemic survival and myth-driven storytelling. He emphasizes that the project combines the raw beauty of nature’s upheaval with a narrative that reacts dynamically to player actions. According to Obłoj, the new trailer aims to illustrate how the environment responds to each decision, transforming the game into a living stage where adaptation is key.
In conjunction with the trailer release, Starward Industries is also initiating another round of closed playtests for selected community members on Discord. This offers a unique opportunity for players to explore elements of the game before its official release.
Into the Fire is scheduled to enter Early Access in 2026. As players prepare for this journey, they will be invited into a world shaped by fire, folklore, and an ever-unfolding apocalypse, where each step must contend with an environment that refuses to remain static.
