TomorrowHead Studio Launches Closed Playtest for WILL: Follow the Light
Independent developer TomorrowHead Studio has officially launched a closed playtest for its upcoming game, WILL: Follow The Light. The announcement followed a new teaser unveiled during the Galaxies Autumn Showcase 2025, showcasing emotional moments set against stunning northern coastlines and cinematic sailing sequences.
The closed playtest offers selected players a unique opportunity to delve into the early sections of WILL: Follow The Light. Participants can experiment with the game’s intricate puzzle mechanics and provide valuable feedback to help refine the project ahead of its official release. Access to the playtest can be obtained through the game’s official Discord community, where detailed instructions are available.
Engagement with the Community
Roman Novikov, Founder and Game Director at TomorrowHead Studio, emphasized the importance of player input in the development process. “We’re not backed by a publisher – so our only true direction comes from the players,” he stated. “This playtest is more than a technical step. It’s a dialogue between us and the community that’s been with us since day one.”
Set against the remote northern shores, WILL: Follow The Light narrates a father’s poignant quest to find his missing son. The game is designed as a meditative journey, exploring themes of loss, hope, and discovery through the solitude of the sea and the breathtaking beauty of nature.
How to Participate
This playtest not only serves as a critical phase in the development of WILL: Follow The Light but also fosters a sense of community between the studio and its players, enhancing the narrative-driven puzzle adventure experience.
