Local Authors Unite for Owen Sound Book Fair This October

More than 40 local authors will gather at the Owen Sound & North Grey Union Public Library for a two-day book fair on October 24 and 25, 2023. This event will take place from 13:00 to 16:00 each day, offering the community an opportunity to meet the authors, purchase their books, and engage in various activities.

The event, which is the second annual showcase of local writers, emphasizes connections to Grey and Bruce counties. Attendees can look forward to a diverse range of genres represented at the fair, making it a rich experience for book lovers.

In addition to meeting authors, visitors can enjoy the library’s Plinko game and enter for a chance to win exciting prizes. Those presenting a valid library card will automatically be entered into a draw for a book bundle. Furthermore, any purchase of books from the participating authors qualifies buyers for a draw to win back the price of their book.
