Motorcycle Collision Closes Burtch Road in Kelowna, One Injured

A collision between a motorcycle and a vehicle has led to the closure of Burtch Road in Kelowna. The incident occurred at approximately 09:15 on March 15, 2024, near the entrance to Gateway Plaza. Emergency services are on-site attending to one individual, who has been transported to a local hospital for further evaluation and treatment.
Both the Kelowna Fire Department and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) responded promptly to the scene. They have managed to ensure that traffic on Highway 97 remains unaffected by the incident.
