Motorcyclist Dies in Oakville Collision; Two Others Injured
 
																								
												
												
											A tragic collision in Oakville on Sunday morning resulted in the death of a motorcyclist, while two others sustained minor injuries. The incident occurred just before 9 a.m. on Trafalgar Road at Burhamthorpe Road East.
According to the Halton Regional Police Service, the motorcyclist was riding a blue Yamaha motorcycle and was traveling northbound through the intersection when it collided with a black Acura RDX. The Acura was making a left turn from Trafalgar onto Burhamthorpe at the time of the crash. Emergency responders pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene.
The driver and passenger of the Acura were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Their identities have not been disclosed, and there are no further updates on their conditions as of now.
Investigation Underway
The Halton Regional Police Service’s Collision Reconstruction Unit is currently leading the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash. They are examining evidence and gathering information to determine the cause of the collision.
