											A jewelry store located in Toronto’s Dufferin Mall was targeted in a smash-and-grab robbery on the evening of October 7, 2025. According to Toronto Police, five masked individuals allegedly armed with hammers executed the crime around 19:20 local time. The suspects reportedly smashed display cases and stole various pieces of merchandise before fleeing the scene.
Police responded swiftly to the incident, securing the area shortly after receiving reports of the robbery. Video footage shared on social media by Toronto lawyer Caryma Sa’d captured the aftermath, showing the damaged display cases and officers with drawn weapons as they cordoned off the crime scene.
Details of the Incident
Witness accounts indicate that the suspects entered the jewelry store, immediately targeting the display cases. At least two of the individuals were reportedly armed with hammers, which they used to break the glass and access the merchandise. There were no injuries reported during the incident, a fact that police confirmed in their updates.
Following the robbery, the suspects fled the scene in what was described as a dark-coloured vehicle. The police have launched an ongoing investigation to identify and apprehend the culprits.
