New York Sex Worker Charged with Murder and Robbery of Clients

A New York woman faces serious criminal charges after allegedly drugging and robbing several clients, resulting in three deaths. **Tabitha Bundrick**, 38, is charged with three counts of second-degree murder, robbery, burglary, and assault. The investigation revealed that Bundrick provided fentanyl-laced substances to incapacitate her victims, a scheme that resulted in fatal overdoses.
Manhattan District Attorney **Alvin L. Bragg, Jr.** described Bundrick’s actions as “callous” and “calculated,” emphasizing that she knowingly administered dangerous drugs to her clients. In a statement, he asserted, “Tabitha Bundrick knowingly provided fentanyl-laced drugs to incapacitate her victims so she could steal their personal belongings.” He vowed to prosecute those who engage in similar conduct, highlighting the seriousness of the crimes.
Bundrick’s alleged criminal activities spanned from **April 2023** to **February 2024**. According to law enforcement, her method involved presenting herself as a sex worker, luring clients to locations where she would drug them, and subsequently rob them. Prosecutors stated that she often claimed the fentanyl-laced substance was cocaine.
On **April 30, 2023**, Bundrick approached two men, offering to sell them soap. She then proposed sexual services for money and led them to an empty apartment on **West 159th Street**, which she had broken into. The next morning, one of the men awoke to discover his friend, **Mario Paullan**, 42, dead beside him. The survivor reported that many of their belongings, including his cellphone, were missing. Authorities believe Bundrick used the stolen phone to make calls.
Five months later, Bundrick allegedly repeated the scheme with **Miguel Naez**, 39. After providing him with similar drugs, he was found dead several days later, and his belongings had also been taken.
On **February 25, 2024**, Bundrick managed to gain access to the apartment of **Abrihan Fernandez**. Surveillance footage captured her entering and exiting the building multiple times. Prosecutors claim she rigged the door to facilitate her comings and goings, and she left with various items, including Fernandez’s backpack and personal belongings. In the days following his death, his credit card was reportedly used several times.
Bundrick is currently being held at **Rikers Island** without bond. Last year, she pleaded guilty in federal court to two counts of distributing narcotics and received a **13-year prison sentence**, which will run concurrently with any state penalties. If convicted of the state charges, she could face a maximum sentence of life in prison.
Her legal representatives expressed that Bundrick made poor choices but emphasized that she did not intend for anyone to die. They stated, “Ms. Bundrick undoubtedly made a poor decision when she shared her drugs with men who were just looking for a good time. But she never intended to kill anyone.”
The case highlights the ongoing issues surrounding drug-related crimes and the dangers posed by illicit substances in the context of sex work. As the investigation continues, Bundrick’s actions serve as a grim reminder of the potential for exploitation in vulnerable situations.
