Virgin Plus Launches 2-for-1 Cineplex Ticket Promotion for Members

Virgin Plus has introduced a limited-time promotion offering 2-for-1 Cineplex movie tickets for its members. This initiative will run for the next 13 weeks, allowing members to claim a promo code by registering online.
To access the promotion, members must register through the Virgin Plus website. Those using Home Phone and Internet-only memberships will need to utilize the My Benefits App over Wi-Fi. After registration, members will receive a text message containing the promo code, which can be redeemed at Cineplex during checkout. It is important to note that each member is eligible for one promo code per week, and the promotion is valid only for general admission tickets. Premium formats such as AVX or IMAX will incur additional charges.
The promotion offers flexibility, as the code can be used for any showtime throughout the week. However, online purchases will incur a booking fee of CAD $1.50. This fee is reduced to CAD $1 for Scene members and waived entirely for CineClub members or those purchasing tickets in-theatre.
Promo codes must be utilized for showtimes before the expiration date of December 14, 2025. This means that members will not be able to use the promo for highly anticipated films like Avatar: Fire and Ash, set to release on December 19. Nonetheless, several exciting titles will be available in cinemas leading up to the deadline, including The Long Walk on September 12, A Big Bold Beautiful Journey on September 19, Tron: Ares on October 10, Regretting You on October 24, Predator: Badlands on November 7, The Running Man on November 14, Wicked for Good on November 21, and Zootopia 2 on November 26.
This promotion not only enhances the viewing experience for Virgin Plus members but also aims to drive increased attendance at Cineplex locations during the fall and early winter months. As the film industry continues to rebound, such offers represent valuable opportunities for moviegoers looking to enjoy the latest releases at a reduced price.
