Torr Metals Inc. has concluded a significant drilling program at the Bertha Target, part of its Kolos Copper-Gold Project located in southern British Columbia. The company successfully completed 2,733 metres of diamond drilling across eight holes, testing a geophysical anomaly that indicates a large-scale supergene system.

The drilling program focused on a moderate-chargeability induced polarization (IP) anomaly, extending approximately 400 metres in strike length and nearly 900 metres down-plunge. This anomaly is associated with strongly oxidized volcanic and intrusive rocks, which are crucial for the formation of supergene mineralization from copper-bearing fluids. The results confirm that the supergene system extends to over 580 metres in vertical depth.

Malcolm Dorsey, President and CEO of Torr Metals, stated, “The completion of 2,733 metres of drilling across eight drill holes at Bertha represents a major milestone for Torr and has significantly strengthened our confidence in the scale and geological setting of this newly recognized supergene system.” He noted the initial program’s success in confirming more than 400 metres of strike and close to 900 metres of down-plunge continuity.

The company aims to evaluate the geological context of the Bertha target, which has potential similarities to the nearby New Afton Copper-Gold Mine, situated about 28 kilometres to the north-northeast. At New Afton, supergene mineralization has been identified at depths of 400 to 500 metres, extending beyond 600 metres in major fault and fracture corridors. The structural and lithological boundaries at Bertha are also well-defined, offering optimism for a comparable mineralization potential.

With laboratory assays pending for all eight holes, Torr Metals is keen to provide further geological insights as results become available in the coming months. The company has secured funding for an additional 6,000 metres of drilling, with plans to return to Bertha after analysis is completed in late Q1 or early Q2 2026.

In a separate development, Torr Metals has granted a total of 3,500,000 stock options to its directors, officers, and consultants. These options are exercisable at a price of $0.21 per common share for five years, subject to the company’s stock option plan and the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange.

The analytical work for this drilling program was carried out at ALS Global Laboratories in Kamloops, Canada, an accredited facility that follows industry-standard procedures. The company ensured that a secure chain of custody was maintained for the samples, ensuring the integrity of the data collected.

Torr Metals, headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta, focuses on exploring copper and gold potential within established mining districts across Canada. Its Kolos Copper-Gold Project encompasses a district-scale asset strategically located near vital infrastructure, while its Filion Gold Project in northern Ontario targets high-grade orogenic gold potential.

As the company continues its exploration efforts, it aims to unlock significant copper and gold discoveries in areas with a growing need for near-term mining feed. For more information, investors can visit the company’s profile on SEDAR+ at www.sedarplus.ca.
