Two Injured in Stabbing Incident in Downtown Toronto
Two individuals sustained injuries in a stabbing incident that occurred early on November 2, 2025, near Moss Park in downtown Toronto. According to the Toronto Police, officers responded to reports of a dispute in the area of Sherbourne and Shuter Streets around 01:15 a.m. Upon arrival, they located two men in their 20s suffering from stab wounds. Both victims were promptly transported to a hospital, where their injuries were confirmed to be non-life-threatening.
Police arrested a third man, also in his 20s, at the scene. Authorities have not yet disclosed whether he will face any charges related to the incident.
Second Incident at Rally Leads to Arrest
In a separate event later that day, a woman was taken into custody during a demonstration in North York. This incident unfolded around 12:30 p.m. in the vicinity of Bathurst Street and Sheppard Avenue West, close to Earl Bales Park. The Toronto Police reported that the woman was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon and making threats. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during this altercation.
Ongoing Investigations into Other Incidents
In addition to these incidents, the province’s police watchdog, the Special Investigations Unit (SIU), is currently investigating the death of a 19-year-old woman near Windsor, Ontario. The incident occurred when an officer from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) collided with the female pedestrian while driving along County Road 20. The woman was rushed to a hospital but tragically succumbed to her injuries. The SIU has assigned two investigators, two forensic officers, and a crash reconstructionist to the case.
As investigations continue into these incidents, authorities urge anyone with relevant information to come forward.
