Lexus Expands 2026 RX Lineup with New Black Line and PHEV Models
Lexus has announced the addition of two new models to its 2026 RX Series, enhancing its reputation as a leader in the luxury SUV market. The new variants, the RX 350 F SPORT Black Line and the RX 450h+ Ultra Premium, expand the RX lineup to a total of 17 configurations, which now include options across gas, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid powertrains.
The 2026 Lexus RX lineup, starting at $60,635 in Canada, offers a diverse range of powertrain options to suit various driving preferences and needs. The RX 350 comes equipped with a 2.4-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine, delivering 275 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque. It is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, providing a responsive driving experience. The hybrid variant, the RX 350h, utilizes a 2.5-litre hybrid-electric system, generating 246 horsepower and achieving a fuel consumption rating of 6.5L/100 km.
For those seeking higher performance, the RX 500h combines the 2.4-litre turbocharged engine with a one-motor hybrid system, producing 367 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque. This variant features a six-speed automatic transmission and Lexus’s DIRECT4 all-wheel-drive system. Meanwhile, the RX 450h+ represents the plug-in hybrid option within the lineup, offering an estimated electric-only driving range of 60 kilometres and a remarkable fuel efficiency of 2.8 litres equivalent per 100 kilometres. The model is powered by a 2.5-litre engine and features an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission. Lexus estimates that it can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in just 6.5 seconds, with the battery fully charging in approximately 2.5 hours.

The RX 350 F SPORT Black Line introduces a distinctive new aesthetic for 2026, showcasing a black exterior aero kit, black five-spoke wheels, and striking orange brake calipers. Interior enhancements include grey contrast stitching, illuminated door sills, and Black Line-specific floor mats.
In contrast, the RX 450h+ Ultra Premium offers an upgraded experience with features such as a 14-inch touchscreen, the Lexus Interface providing full connectivity services, and an array of advanced driver assistance technologies.
Every model in the 2026 RX lineup comes standard with the Lexus Interface infotainment system, which supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The screen sizes range from 9.8 inches to 14 inches, with higher trims incorporating Drive Connect and cloud-based navigation. Safety is prioritized as well, with the Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 included across all models, offering features like lane departure alert, a pre-collision system, and dynamic radar cruise control. Additional safety options include a backup camera, blind-spot monitor, and up to eight airbags.

The top-tier RX 350 Executive is priced at $76,054 and includes luxury upgrades like a 21-speaker Mark Levinson audio system and semi-Aniline leather.
