83-Year-Old Woman Dies in Collision with Tractor-Trailer
A tragic collision occurred on March 15, 2024, in South Dundas Township, resulting in the death of an 83-year-old woman from Morrisburg. The incident took place on County Road 31 during the afternoon, specifically just before 15:30 local time.
Officers from the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded promptly to the scene. The woman, who was driving a passenger vehicle, was transported to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, she was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. The driver of the tractor-trailer involved in the collision did not sustain any injuries.
The OPP has launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
