Young Student Shares Heartfelt Christmas Message to Santa
A second-grade student from Uplands Montessori Elementary School, Myrea, recently expressed her excitement for the holiday season in a personal letter to Santa Claus. The letter highlights her achievements and festive activities, showcasing the joy and enthusiasm of childhood during this time of year.
In her letter, dated December 1, Myrea thanked Santa for the wonderful gifts she received the previous year. She mentioned participating in Canada Music Week on November 23, where she performed “Whale’s Lament.” The young musician felt a sense of pride after her performance, demonstrating her dedication to music.
Myrea also shared that on November 30, she spread holiday cheer by playing Christmas carols for elderly residents in her community. This initiative reflects the spirit of giving and community engagement that many families embrace during the festive season. Furthermore, she attended the Cloverdale Figure Skating Santa Parade, an event that celebrates the holidays with performances and activities for all ages.
As is tradition, Myrea expressed her intention to leave out cookies and milk for Santa, along with carrots for his reindeer. This gesture of kindness is an endearing part of the holiday experience for many children around the world.
In her closing remarks, she wished Santa a wonderful Christmas, encapsulating the warmth and joy that the season brings. Such heartfelt messages remind us of the magic of Christmas and the simple joys that come with it, as children like Myrea celebrate the spirit of the holidays.
