Chestermere Whitecappers Hold Successful Quilt Raffle for Community
The Chestermere Whitecappers Association successfully held a raffle for a quilt skirt, with proceeds aimed at enhancing community programs for individuals aged 50 and older. The event culminated in a celebration as Brenda Ell was announced as the lucky winner.
Ellen Neary, President of the Chestermere Whitecappers Association, expressed her gratitude to everyone who purchased tickets, emphasizing the importance of community support. The funds raised through this raffle will directly contribute to the association’s fitness, social, and educational initiatives, which have been serving the 50+ community for more than 40 years.
The raffle not only generated enthusiasm among participants but also highlighted the ongoing commitment of the Chestermere Whitecappers to foster a vibrant community. Neary stated, “The support we receive from our community allows us to continue offering valuable programs that enrich the lives of our members.”
The Whitecappers have a long-standing tradition of engaging older adults in meaningful activities, promoting health and well-being through various programs. As the community looks forward to more such events, the success of the quilt skirt raffle serves as a reminder of the collective spirit that drives the Chestermere Whitecappers Association’s mission.
