PUC Services Inc. Raises Over $8,000 for Christmas Cheer
PUC Services Inc. has successfully raised $8,240 for Christmas Cheer through its annual e-billing campaign, which ran from November 24 to December 24, 2025. This effort aimed to support families in need during the holiday season, highlighting the utility company’s commitment to community welfare.
The e-billing initiative encouraged customers to enroll in paperless billing, with PUC donating $20 for each new enrollee. The campaign not only generated significant financial contributions but also fostered community participation. In conjunction with the e-billing campaign, PUC organized a toy drive from November 24 to December 4, 2025, resulting in the collection and donation of over 300 toys to Christmas Cheer.
Community Impact and Support
Diane Marshall, Co-Convener of Christmas Cheer, expressed gratitude for PUC’s support, stating, “PUC is an excellent supporter and partner of Christmas Cheer, first with their marvellous toy drive, and now with their financial gift that allows us to purchase many of the grocery gift cards that are given to each of our families.” This partnership exemplifies how local businesses can contribute to enhancing the community’s well-being, especially during the festive season.
Christmas Cheer is dedicated to providing food, gifts, and holiday assistance to families facing challenges. The funds raised through PUC’s initiatives will directly impact the lives of numerous children and families, ensuring they can enjoy a brighter holiday season.
Jairus Patterson, Manager of Communications & Customer Relations at PUC Services Inc., emphasized the importance of giving back, stating, “To be able to give back to the community we’re proud to serve is truly meaningful. We’re incredibly proud of the compassion shown by our team and customers, who helped to spread Christmas cheer to families in our community this holiday season.”
Each toy donated during the campaign also served as an entry into a giveaway draw, further encouraging participation from the community. This blend of financial support and toy donations showcases PUC’s commitment to making a positive difference in the community.
As the holiday season approaches, the impact of such initiatives is felt widely, reinforcing the spirit of generosity and community support that is essential during this time of year.
