Kingsville Library Offers Engaging February Programs for Adults

The Kingsville Library is hosting a variety of engaging programs and activities for adults throughout February 2024. The schedule includes sessions for device assistance, crafting events, a book club, and a cooking class focusing on Southeast Asian cuisine.

Device Advice sessions will take place on February 2 and February 23, from 12:00 to 14:00. These 30-minute appointments are designed to offer personalized assistance with various devices, ensuring patrons can effectively utilize their technology.

On February 4 and February 18, the library will host Crafting Hive sessions at 17:30. This program, organized in partnership with local community groups, aims to bring individuals together to explore creativity and share crafting techniques.

Additionally, the library invites adult patrons to join the Write on Drop-ins every Friday in February: the 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th, starting at 13:00. This community initiative provides a space for writers to gather, share ideas, and hone their craft.

The Adult Book Club will meet on February 7 at 11:00, with the selected title for discussion being What Was Mine by Helen Klein Ross. This monthly gathering encourages reading and lively discussion among participants.

For culinary enthusiasts, the library offers a Travel by Cookbook session focusing on the cuisines of Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines on February 21 at 13:00. Participants can register for this event online at www.essexcountylibrary.ca or by calling (226) 946-1529 ext. 445.
