Shreekant Patil Inspires Students at World Entrepreneurs’ Day Celebration

On August 21, 2025, Guru Gobind Singh MBA College in Nashik hosted a vibrant celebration for World Entrepreneurs’ Day at the GGSF Seminar Hall. The event aimed to inspire the entrepreneurial spirit among students and featured over 100 attendees, including BBA and MBA students and faculty members.
The gathering commenced at 11:00 a.m. with the esteemed serial entrepreneur, mentor, and consultant, CEng. Shreekant Patil, serving as the Chief Guest. His participation brought a wealth of experience and insight, as he is recognized as an Official Startup India Mentor and a National Level Technical Team Member of BIS India.
Empowering Future Entrepreneurs
During his keynote address, Shreekant Patil shared his personal journey in entrepreneurship, emphasizing the critical role of innovation and startups in nurturing India’s youth. He discussed various government subsidy schemes aimed at supporting emerging entrepreneurs and highlighted the importance of women empowerment in the business landscape.
Patil’s vision aligns with India’s goal of becoming a “Viksit Bharat” by 2047, and he stressed the responsibility of young professionals in realizing this ambition. He received a warm welcome from attendees, and Mrs. Rida Kalim, Head of Department, presented him with a bouquet and trophy as tokens of appreciation for his contributions.
In his address, Patil assured students of his ongoing support, promising to provide mentorship and guidance on initiatives such as Startup India, Standup India, and the upcoming India Skills Competition 2025. His commitment to fostering a supportive environment for aspiring entrepreneurs resonated throughout the event.

Patil also spoke about his mission to create new startups and empower women entrepreneurs. Leveraging his expertise as a DGFT-registered Chartered Engineer, he encouraged young professionals to explore opportunities in exports.
