Q-Games Launches Free Steam Demo for Upcoming Title Dreams of Another
Kyoto-based studio Q-Games has released a free demo of its anticipated title, Dreams of Another, now available on Steam. This demo offers players a limited opportunity to explore the game’s unique dreamlike world until September 16, 2025, ahead of its full release scheduled for October 10, 2025, on PlayStation 5, PlayStation VR2, and Steam.
The announcement coincided with the Best Indie Games Fall Showcase 2025, which took place on September 2. This digital event showcased over one hundred independent games across various genres, providing a platform for developers and media to highlight innovative projects. It served as an ideal venue for Q-Games to unveil their latest offering.
In Dreams of Another, players will be immersed in a surreal realm crafted using advanced point cloud rendering technology. This approach enhances the game’s visual style, creating an otherworldly atmosphere characteristic of Q-Games’ work. The demo offers a meaningful glimpse into this distinctive environment, allowing players to experience the artistry and creativity that the studio is known for.
In conjunction with the demo launch, pre-orders have opened on the PlayStation Store for both the standalone game and a special bundle that includes Dreams of Another and PixelJunk Eden 2. Both projects are directed by Baiyon, who continues to infuse his unique creative vision into the series.
As the full release approaches, Q-Games is preparing to deliver an experience that merges art and gameplay in innovative ways. The Steam demo presents an exciting opportunity for those eager to explore this enchanting universe before the official launch.
