Aventis Energy Reports High Radioactivity at Corvo Uranium Project

Aventis Energy has announced significant findings from its 2025 exploration program at the **Corvo Uranium Project** in **Vancouver, British Columbia**. The company confirmed strong radioactivity levels during a recent mapping and sampling initiative conducted from **July 4 to July 16, 2025**. This exploration is part of a three-year earn-in option agreement with **Standard Uranium Ltd.**
The exploration program produced compelling results, including the verification of **off-scale radioactivity** at the historical Manhattan showing, with handheld scintillometer readings exceeding **65,535 counts per second (cps)**. In addition, 112 instances of highly anomalous radioactivity were recorded, with some readings reaching as high as **13,500 cps** throughout the project area.
Exploration Highlights and Future Plans
Aventis Energy’s detailed mapping and scintillometer prospecting uncovered previously undocumented radioactive occurrences in favorable rock types for uranium and **Rare Earth Element (REE)** mineralization. The geological mapping confirmed the presence of deformed and hydrothermally altered basement lithologies, which include metasedimentary, calc-silicate, and granitic rocks.
As part of ongoing exploration efforts, the company is planning a comprehensive ground gravity survey for **Q4 2025**. This survey aims to identify density anomalies that may indicate hydrothermal alteration systems. Furthermore, a diamond drilling program is scheduled for **Q1 2026**, focusing on targets developed from the detailed studies conducted during the exploration program.
**Michael Mulberry**, Chief Executive Officer of Aventis Energy, expressed pride in the preliminary results, stating, “With the identification of strong radioactivity at the Manhattan showing and favorable results from geological mapping along key trends at the Project, we are well positioned to complete a near-term ground gravity survey.”
The 2025 exploration program involved a total of 30 outcrop and boulder grab samples submitted to **Saskatchewan Research Council Geoanalytical Laboratories** for geochemical analysis. The findings will contribute to the first **NI 43-101 technical report** on the project. Over **160 geological observations** were made, along with scintillometer readings from multiple outcrops, confirming several uraniferous locations across the site.
Notable findings include the Manhattan showing, which recorded uranium concentrations ranging from **1.19% to 5.98% U3O8**, and the **SMDI showing 2052**, with **0.137% U3O8** and **2,300 ppm Th**.
Geophysical Surveys and Data Integration
Future exploration at the Corvo project will also incorporate supplementary geophysical surveys to refine drill targets for the inaugural drilling program. Earlier this year, Standard Uranium contracted **Axiom Exploration Group Ltd.** alongside **New Resolution Geophysics** to conduct a helicopter-borne **Xcite time domain electromagnetic (TDEM)** and total field magnetic survey over the project area. The survey covered approximately **1,380 line-kilometers**, enhancing the resolution of over **29 kilometers** of conductive trends.
This ongoing geophysical interpretation will integrate historical survey data with newly collected information, aiding in the identification of high-priority drill targets and mitigating risks before drilling activities commence in **2026**.
The scientific and technical information shared in this announcement has been reviewed and approved by **Sean Hillacre**, P.Geo., President and VP Exploration of Standard Uranium, who is recognized as a qualified person under **NI 43-101** standards. He emphasized the importance of historical data as a guide for exploration and the assessment of mineralization potential.
Aventis Energy remains committed to advancing its exploration initiatives at the Corvo Uranium Project, which has shown promising signs of uranium mineralization along an **800-meter strike length**. The company views these developments as crucial steps towards unlocking the project’s full economic potential.
