Dixon School Board Invites Community to Join Superintendent Search

The Dixon Public Schools District 170 Board has initiated a search for a permanent superintendent with assistance from the Illinois Association of School Boards. As the board narrows down candidates to the semifinalist stage, community input is deemed essential for the final decision.

The board is actively seeking volunteers to participate in this important process. A representative group consisting of district staff, parents, and community members will engage with the semifinalists, pose questions, and provide feedback to the board. This meeting is scheduled for October 29, 2023, from 17:30 to 20:00.
