Air Canada Expands Bus Service Between Waterloo Region and Toronto Pearson

Air Canada has announced a significant expansion of its bus service connecting the Waterloo Region to Toronto Pearson Airport (YYZ). Starting on December 1, the airline will double the number of daily luxury coach trips provided by The Landline Company from five to ten. This enhancement aims to better serve travelers flying out of the Region of Waterloo International Airport (YKF).
Ranbir Singh, Director of Regional Airlines and Markets at Air Canada, expressed satisfaction with the service’s growing popularity. “We have been very satisfied with the response from the Kitchener-Waterloo Region to Air Canada’s innovative, multi-modal service,” he stated. The increase in bus trips will offer passengers improved connectivity to numerous destinations available from Toronto Pearson, including cities like Vancouver, Tokyo, Halifax, and San Francisco.
The expanded service represents a commitment to enhancing travel options for residents, businesses, and visitors in the Waterloo Region. “Doubling the frequency strengthens Waterloo Region’s global reach and opens new doors for our residents, businesses, and visitors alike,” remarked Karen Redman, Chair of the Region of Waterloo. “We are committed to providing travelers with more accessible options.”
The schedule for departures from YKF in Breslau will maintain early morning options starting at 5:30 a.m. and extend to late evening departures at 8:25 p.m.. For those returning from Toronto Pearson, buses will operate from 7:00 a.m. until 10:15 p.m., ensuring that travelers have ample opportunities to connect with their flights.
This service enhancement not only supports local travel needs but also highlights Air Canada’s strategic focus on integrating regional and international travel options. As demand continues to rise, the airline’s investment in this connectivity emphasizes its role in facilitating easier travel for communities in and around the Waterloo Region.
