Bodor Laser Triumphs with Three Awards at Red Dot Design Ceremony
Bodor Laser, a leader in laser cutting and welding solutions, achieved significant recognition at the Red Dot Award: Design Concept 2025 ceremony held in Singapore on October 27, 2025. The company was honored for three of its flagship products, including the next-generation handheld laser welder, which received the prestigious “Best of the Best” award, the highest accolade in the competition.
This recognition marks a pivotal moment for Bodor Laser, emphasizing its position in the global laser equipment industry. Alongside the handheld laser welder, the sheet and tube laser cutting machines were also celebrated for their remarkable design innovation and industrial excellence.
Celebrating Design Excellence
The Red Dot Award is one of the most esteemed design honors worldwide, alongside Germany’s iF Design Award and the U.S. IDEA Award. The “Best of the Best” title, which is awarded to fewer than one percent of submissions, highlights products that set new benchmarks in innovation, functionality, and aesthetics.
Bodor’s designs reflect a philosophy that combines technology with aesthetic appeal. Each product is crafted with user insight in mind, featuring ergonomic structures, intuitive interfaces, and safety systems. This commitment to merging minimalism with advanced technology underscores Bodor’s mission to transform complexity into clarity and engineering into art.
The company’s state-of-the-art manufacturing ecosystem supports its achievements. With a Global Headquarters in Jinan covering 200,000 square meters, Bodor operates intelligent production lines capable of producing over 20,000 units annually. An upcoming Southern Headquarters in Shenzhen will focus on high-end research and development, adding more than 5,000 units to the yearly output and enhancing supply chains across South China and Southeast Asia.
Leading the Laser Industry
Bodor Laser’s recent accolade makes it the first laser equipment brand globally to receive the Red Dot “Best of the Best” distinction. To date, the company has amassed a total of five Red Dot Awards, four iF Design Awards, and several international recognitions, including the MUSE Award, Good Design from the U.S., and the French Design Awards.
Looking forward, Bodor Laser remains committed to its vision of integrating technology and design, placing users at the centre of its innovation. By focusing on the synergy of functionality and beauty, the company aims to drive the laser industry into a new era of intelligent and aesthetic manufacturing.
This commitment to excellence and innovation positions Bodor Laser as a formidable player in the global market, setting standards for future developments in laser technology.
