MS Chi-Cheemaun Returns to Owen Sound Harbour for Celebration

The iconic ferry, the MS Chi-Cheemaun, is set to return to the Owen Sound Harbour on October 16, 2023, after a successful sailing season. The vessel is scheduled to dock at the west wall of the harbour around 16:00. This event marks the conclusion of another memorable season for the ferry, which has been a vital link for travelers between Tobermory and Manitoulin Island.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to join in the festivities to celebrate the ferry’s return. Ontario Ferries has invited the public to bring noisemakers, flags, and pompoms to create an atmosphere filled with sound and color.
