The Sault Ste. Marie North Branch Library is launching a four-week crochet course, inviting residents to explore their creative talents. The program, titled Crochet with Lesley, will run from February 2 to March 2, 2024, with classes held on Mondays from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.. This hands-on introductory course is designed for beginners and those wanting to refresh their crochet skills in a supportive and friendly environment.

Participants will learn essential crochet techniques during each session, guided by instructor Lesley. The library aims to foster creativity and community engagement through this course, making it an excellent opportunity for residents to connect while developing a new hobby.

As the course has limited space, early registration is highly encouraged. Those interested can sign up by calling 705-759-5248. Participants should bring a crochet hook, either 4.5 mm or 5 mm, while yarn will be provided at each session.

The crochet course highlights the library’s commitment to offering diverse and enriching programs for the community. Whether seeking to learn a new craft or simply enjoy a creative outlet, this program promises a rewarding experience for all involved.
