Students Share Heartfelt Letters to Santa from James Kennedy Elementary

In an annual tradition, the students of James Kennedy Elementary in Canada have sent their warm wishes and holiday hopes to Santa Claus. The heartfelt letters, written by children in Grade 3, reveal their inquiries about Santa’s well-being, their acts of kindness throughout the year, and their Christmas wishes. This initiative, known as the “Letters to Santa” project, showcases the joy and innocence of childhood during the festive season.

The letters, collected and published on December 25 and 26, 2025, feature a variety of wishes, from toys to personal items. For instance, Addie, one of the young authors, expressed a desire for a book and a 3D printer, while also sharing her efforts in helping her parents around the house. Similarly, Aila inquired about the reindeer’s diet and wished for slime and a 3D-printed dragon.

Many students took the opportunity to connect with Santa on a personal level. Alexander, who prefers to be called Zander, asked about Santa’s reindeer and shared his contributions at home, such as feeding the family pets. He also expressed excitement for receiving a Wayne GretzkyHannah mentioned her involvement in decorating the Christmas tree and helping with household chores, while Jaden detailed his commitment to assisting with dishes and cleaning up.

Joyful Inquiries and Christmas Wishes

The children’s inquiries often reflect their curiosity and fascination with Santa’s life. Kasra posed the question, “Why do you like cookies so much?” capturing the whimsical spirit of the season. Devansh and others expressed a blend of excitement and gratitude, wishing for gifts like a perplexus ball or a trampoline while also acknowledging their parents’ efforts in preparing for Christmas.

In total, the project involved numerous students, each contributing their unique voice and perspective. Audrey wished for two plush pom-poms, while Isabella hoped for a specific type of ball that could bounce high. Each letter is a glimpse into the youthful minds and the joys they associate with Christmas.
